I received a very pleasant surprise when I checked my campus mailbox today: my copy of _Deconstructing Brad Pitt, which contains my essay “Gay for Brad” arrived! It is really weird and fun and silly to see yourself in print. This is my first academic publication on actual paper (not online). What will be weirder will be to see someone citing my essay!
