Ohio College Teaching Consortium’s Inclusive Teaching Endorsement

Over this past year, I have participated in and completed eight workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and the institution. I have completed Ohio College Teaching Consortium‘s “Inclusive Teaching Endorsement.” It was a (mostly) good, thoughtful, and inspiring experience; I particularly enjoyed the presentations and workshops that were led by and focused on marginalized populations. Because of the pandemic, all of these were held virtually, but it meant that there was a broad and varied audience. I was part of the first cohort of higher education instructors in the state of Ohio to receive this endorsement.
